Dear Apple,
You need to work on improvements of your time limit function on iPad.
My 9-yr old outsmarted/hacked your current program. She learned that if she closes her iPad once the time limit-reminder pops up and then wait for a few minutes, the timer resets.
And that is why she could have longer time with her programming/minecraft while at the same time follow the rules imposed.
Please make the improvement ASAP.

  1. We found that with some programs it was possible to extend a free trial by changing to an earlier date on one’s computer. We called that “living in the past.” It is interesting that she is only 9 years old and in effect already “living in the past!”

    • That’s one heck of a hack!
      Not sure if Apple got wind of my complaints but I think some other parent even within Apple must have their own “Yui”, screen time controls are now much better than before (unless Yui gets to figure out my passcode)
