Dec 2 – something to be thankful for

Thank you Patchi. I guess I was really touched because what you just did is one of my “language of love” for receiving.

Yet even with my language of love being different, your gift was just so pretty in that Atsushi and I were simply speechless and can only exclaim “WOW” as we turn every page. Definitely this is one of the most amazing cards we’ve ever received.

And of course, it will not end this Christmas. And yes, indeed we are thankful for the friendship. πŸ™‚

Kitkat green tea Air in

They don’t just come in different flavors. They also come in different….forms. This one’s the “air in” variety. Reminds me of sports shoes actually. πŸ˜€

Will update this post once I’ll have my snacks later and get a taste on the bubbles effect.

Some update.

This is what I just love with buying Japanese food. You’ll know how many calories you are getting. This one bar for instance gives you 40kcal of energy.

Indeed, this variant has bubbles. Matcha and chocolate is much thicker than the wafer itself. But I ain’t complaining! It definitely is VERY good; not overly sweet at all. πŸ™‚

Let’s count our blessings shall we?

Hubs and I sort of count our blessings everyday as we talk about how our day went as we walk our way home.

But Jeckoy’s idea was a really good one; posting a blog a day for this special month to count the blessings.

This is indeed a very good idea! And one that we should do everyday of our lives. Back when I was doing the wedding preps, I specially count my blessings when something disappointing happened. By doing that, I forget about the bad thing but just focus on the good one.

Today, I guess I should be counting my blessings because there are a couple of things that were a bit of a let down – one of which was i was late on our project meeting because I forgot it was today. πŸ™ I didn’t turn on the reminder function.

But I shouldn’t dwell on it. Let’s focus on the blessings:
– thankful for Atsushi
– thankful for the great conversations we are having
– thankful that the client approved my proposed design change within a much shorter time than my boss expected
– found a way to solve my recent headache with a deliverable

I should remember those. And not the misses.

And oh, one of today’s verses:
Psalm 118:1 Give thanks to the Lord who is good.

Indeed! πŸ™‚

Shake Duo

Hubs requested that we drop by Book Express for his book shopping fix on our way home from office. It was a good thing this duo was doing a performance in the open space in front of JR Sakuragicho Station. They were pretty good! Hence I had a good time as I waited for hubs. I noticed though that most of us who were watching were women.

(sorry for the shaky cover on the first minute. I dropped my PET bottle and had to retrieve it haha πŸ™‚ )

They were giving away flyers for their upcoming concerts; their first album is selling at Β₯2500 yen.

In fairness the vocalist’s voice was good and blending with the backup was good as well. Beatbox man was pretty good too! No wonder many were hanging around to watch them instead of the usual handful of watchers for other singers on other days.

Hope to hear more from you guys.

autumn on November 30

We’ve been so busy lately that we haven’t really been to the countryside to experience autumn. Here in the city, I feel like autumn took a long time in coming. And even when it came, the visit was so short. Short though it may be, yet still beautiful.
