Goodbye, Hello

And just like that, it’s been a month already since we moved to our new house! Still not quite settled but we’re loving the place even more, by the day. There are some hitches to adjust to, think long waiting list at the neighbourhood (excellent) daycare hence we have to still go to previous
daycare. Yet even when it’s hectic, it has it’s advantages, think learning to be right on time (and I’m talking about a mere minute, singular!) to catch the bus. Yes, finally a (pretty) place to call our own! Thankful, grateful.

But that doesn’t mean to say we didn’t miss our old place. The new one is by far more beautiful; yet the old one also has its charm topping off the good memories we had there. We know we’ll miss it so in that we were emotional during our last visit there for the house inspection.

More than four years ago, Hubs and I fell in love with this place the first time we saw it.

Thank you Soreado!

Happy New Year 2015!!

The end of the year 2014, just before Christmas, we finally moved in to our new place, a place we could call our own. It’s been quite a busy year preparing for it (started the search from October last year) and finally just before the New Year, our hard work came to fruition. We couldn’t be thankful enough.

Not only with the new home, God has been faithful and has yet again showed us His goodness and mercy in many facets of our lives this year. He answers prayers. In the best way at the right time. Kore kara mo yoroshiku onegaishimasu (From now as well, please take care of us Lord).

Thankful. Joyful. Hopeful.

Merry Christmas 2014!!

In which we spent Christmas Day hopping around government offices updating our cards. But it was a happy hopping since the reason for the update was the beautiful gift that we were blessed with this Christmas/year. Thankful.

One big thing I was taught of this Christmas. To slow down. To not rush. To focus only on the essential. Thank you Po for chastening me.

all the house dust got unsettled from all the packing. End result, we had to wear masks inside the house and open the windows even when it’s wintry cold. She didn’t complain at all and was happily playing with whatever toy she could get her hands on. Albeit we think she enjoyed climbing boxes the most.
