Still my favorite line of all time.
Best Battle cry.

I did not have high expectations. It tasted fine as it is. But pair it with Cheetos Cheese. Wow. It made want another glass for the night (almost strict rule is one glass per night).

明けましておめでとう御座います!
At least for the last three years or so, we have enjoyed perfectly clear sunrise, with nary a cloud in sight.
This morning though was quite cloudy, and we waited for about twenty minutes for the sun to peek through (and peak above) the heavy clouds.
Because of the clouds though, we were able to witness an incredibly lovely sight: the sun’s rays forging through. Priceless.

And of course the always, always, shines through.

This year we chose a new location and thankful we could get a good view. It was worth the try.
Happy 2026!!
Visited Tokyo Tower area the other week. And was reeling to realise it’s been 23 years since I’ve been this up close to the tower. We were “kids” then, fledgling Process Engineers. And I can still remember how I was gushing about my “crush” back then. Memories.

I decided to post my certain standout wines.
I’m not a wine connoisseur. As such I will not attempt to describe how they tasted. Sort of “just for future reference”.
I do certainly prefer reds than whites. And so for this post to be for a white wine, not red, certainly says a lot about how this one tasted.
To date, it has at least 8 awards.
Till we meet again, dead white.

After teaching my daughter how to write 4 and 6 in Roman numerals, I asked her how 9 is after introducing 10.
Her answer.
