I made the crossover last April this year.
I’ve grown up and started painting my nails. Not by myself, unfortunately. It’s that “little” gift I gift myself with every month for working like a horse.
Today, to usher in the new year, I requested for a happy colour.
My gel nail artist created a colour combination just for me.
Just hung up the last piece of our washi calendar for the year. And yet I felt like it was only just a few months back when I bought the set a couple of months in advance before the new year.
How the year flew!
We had a long drive last night (we arrived at 2am!) hence I decided to commute for the day’s activities. That, plus we were hurrying not to be late for our choir practice and I wasn’t sure if parking will come easy.
One thing to note: we were all on time on all of our appointments. Except for catching the train. I was the only one who made it inside the train while Yui couldn’t get it despite trying to bar the door with her bag.
I made exaggerated mouth movements to tell her I’ll wait for her on the platform of our destination station. It seemed she has understood.
Was on tenterhooks waiting for Yui. When she did arrive she had a big smile on her face with laughter in her eyes.
We need to have more training for independence now.
So handsome.
Out of curiosity, Yui googled what is the most difficult language to learn (from Japanese perspective) and found it’s Polish.
So she’s set her mind to learn it this summer break. Let’s see how long this resolve will last.
